In 2005, Helena completed her MA Professional Development – Coaching with Middlesex University (cum laude). She is now an MA examiner, a Time To Think Coach and faculty member, and is completing her certification as a Martha Beck Life Coach (Beck writes in the Oprah Magazine and authored Finding Your Own North Star and Steering by Starlight.)

Helena keeps up her writing with a bi-weekly column Shift Happens for South Africa’s weekly Mail & Guardian, and in July 2009 Penguin SA published Team Coaching: Artists at Work which I edited and co-authored with seven other coaches

Helena’s last corporate role, from 2005 to March 2009, was as Director of Coaching and Mentoring at Standard Bank’s Global Leadership Centre. She was responsible for creating a team that put in place eight complementary coaching and mentoring initiatives which offered business unit heads a holistic range from training in performance coaching to customized team interventions.

She has her own coaching practice. Her clients include Singita Game Lodges, Standard Bank, Investec, Central Rand Gold, Edgars, Tupperware, Hewlett Packard, Leaders Unlimited, Gauteng Legislature, Soul City, and Ditsela.
