Melanie Kiley is an Independent Organisational Change and Development Consultant. 

Melanie holds a Higher Diploma in Education from the University of Cape Town, having started her career in Secondary Education in 1992.  After 5 years in Education, she joined the national retailer, The Foschini Group, where over the period of 11 years, she worked as Head of Human Resources for three different Divisions (Manufacturing, Homeware and Apparel).  Melanie is a highly skilled HR Practitioner, having established the HR strategy, infrastructure, systems and philosophy within her divisions.  She has driven and facilitated strategic change initiatives and Human Resource projects throughout The Foschini Group.

Melanie has over 18 years of experience in working with people to facilitate growth and transformation.  She is also a World Café facilitator and believes in the power of conversation as a catalyst for change and for the creation of new realities and culture transformation within organisations.  Her café conversations involve groups ranging from 12 to 400 people.  She hosted a public café conversation event in July 2009 at the Grahamstown Art Festival, which was described as ‘phenomenal’ and ‘powerful’.

Melanie consults in South Africa with large multi-national organisations to smaller privately owned companies in the areas of Leadership Development, Team Effectiveness, Personal Mastery, Change & Culture Transformation, Strategy and Process facilitation.
